About Holloway Events

So many stepping stones led to the founding of Holloway Events in 2018, but my fourth grade teacher’s wedding was the very first. My obsession with events was immediate and absolute, as evidenced by the Martha Stewart Weddings magazines I began collecting soon after. I still have the complete set of print editions housed in my office. Without question–

The hours I spent memorizing editorial layouts. My first job coordinating in-house events for a law firm. The couture boutique that served as my entry point to the wedding industry. Opening a bridal salon and curating gowns alongside the founder of a national collective. All the pieces clicked into place through the process of planning my own wedding—a black tie garden party at the Houston Zoo. A Martha feature followed, and that was really it for me. Every detail I’d joyfully agonized over, celebrated by the publication I’d been studying for decades.

What I planted in the big city now flourishes on a working cotton farm in Texas, beautifully positioned to serve clients in Houston, San Antonio, Dallas-Fort Worth, and beyond. From this quiet place, extravagant visions are brought to life in destinations worldwide.
